Project Timezone

Each Flakiness.io project has a configured timezone that determines how test results are grouped into days.

Test runs happen at UTC timestamps, but “today’s test results” depends on where your team is. A test run at 11 PM in New York is already the next day in UTC. The project timezone ensures that the Test Health Calendar tiles, daily Aggregated Status, and Slack notifications (which fire at 9 AM) all align with your team’s working day.

Set the timezone in Project Settings. It applies to:

  • Test Health Calendar — each tile represents a day in the project’s timezone
  • Daily status computation — test results are grouped into days based on this timezone
  • Notifications — daily Slack alerts are sent at 9 AM in the project’s timezone
